Title IX Complaints On The Rise In Tennessee

A rise in Title IX claims sounds terrible when you first imagine it. “So many more people are discriminating based on sex than ever before” is what some of you may think when reading this. Whether that is true or not isnt clear, but what is clear is that the amount of students reporting these violations has increased. Having the courage to stand up for what’s right should be applauded. While the State of Tennessee, like every other state, should continue to educate their students on the importance of gender equality, they should also be proud that their students are not staying quiet.

Spring Break Schedules

Spring Break is finally here for some of you and rapidly approaching for the rest of us. But what other schools have same spring break as you? Knowing what schools have the same break schedules is a great way to plan ahead and prepare for either a nice quiet vacation or a crowded party cruise with 20 other schools. It appears the two most popular weeks for spring break range between March 3rd to March 10th and March 11th to March 18th. Depending on your school’s schedule for this year’s break, you may or may not be fighting for a seat on the chair lift in Breckonridge or finding out that your hotel in Cancun is at max capacity and you can’t switch rooms or uprade. Pen & Paper VS Tech

Everyone takes notes right? Maybe? No? Well you should. But how do you want to take notes? More specifically, what do you use? A pen and notepad is the cheapest most traditional way, but they can easily fail you if it rains or if you grab the wrong notebook on the the way to class. If you’re reading this, then like most college students, you probably have a laptop or tablet. But are you using it to its full note-worthy potential? Get it… note-worthy? But seriously, tech is so expensive now and what you have now will be obsolete or too slow in a few years. Techlicious breaks down what you need to know and what it’s gonna cost you to succeed during lecture if you can not sleep through it:
